AND HER WORK

Best described as 'Mixed-media Textile', her work is composed of a range of materials, collaged, layered and fused together, with the use of free machine stitch to highlight and embellish. Over the years her inspiration has been drawn from a variety of sources. Early work, was strongly influenced by the many cultures and artefacts encountered during years of world travel. Later work saw weathered images and text of antiquated postcards combine with personal memories, and the exploration of her Christian faith has been seen more prominently in current gallery work.
